Original artwork 11in x14in L - Colored pencil on white Canson paper - Patterns and repetition as a focus with an emphasis on stark, exaggerated lighting create a feeling of collage or patchwork. Similar to Fabric of Harmony or Spirit Sunrise where I actually drew in the faux stitching to create the illusion of sewn fabric, here I omitted the stitching and simply stayed with the overlapping panel analogy so as to emphisize the individual patterns more than to recreate a 3D effect. You might also notice this slightly raised, offset look on some of the ATC cards located in my gallery.... Thanks for looking!
