12" x 24"P colored pencil drawing on Canson Edition paper - Bright White - 22"x30" 250G ------ Green storm clouds above with 2 tornadoes descending before a line of children, standing at the horizon line with backs to the viewer, facing the sun emerging from beneath the clouds. Forefront, a wounded dove with wing raised and blood pooling beneath, sits askew upon a rock, it's olive branch dropped before it. Pre storm or post storm??? You decide....
***Took "Honorable Mention" at the Alliance of Fine Art "Best of the Best" 2012 exhibition at the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook, Illinois.
